There is a Healthy School Team at each school.
Teams include School Nurses, Counselors, Physical Education and Wellness Teachers, School Resource Officers, Grade Level Teachers, Cafeteria Personnel, Parents, Administrators and Students. If you would like to participate in the Healthy School Team, please contact your school Principal.
The team completes a self evaluation called the School Health Index. The team sets goals and priorities for their school in the Eight Components of Coordinated School Health. Each month the team gathers information on "Healthy Happenings" at school.
In order to highlight some of the great things going on in our Loudon County Schools and to help Healthy School Teams glean good ideas from each other, here is information from those "Healthy Happenings"
